Terms of Service

1. Membership Agreement

By becoming a member of Fur Real Dog, you agree to these Terms of Service. Membership is required to access all services including walks, daycare, and overnight boarding.

• Membership fee is $50 per month per dog, billed monthly.
• All dogs must complete a meet & greet and temperament assessment before services begin.
• Fur Real Dog reserves the right to decline or discontinue membership for any dog deemed incompatible with our care environment.

2. Services

Fur Real Dog provides dog walking, daycare, and overnight boarding services in Seattle, Bellevue, Kirkland & surrounding King County. All services are subject to availability and handler capacity.

• Walks: 60-minute sessions with a maximum of 5 dogs per walker.
• Daycare: Full-day supervised care with a maximum of 4 dogs per group, including a structured 30-minute walk.
• Overnight Boarding: Home-environment overnight care including the full daycare program with walks and park trips.

3. Pricing & Payment

• Service rates are listed on our website and are subject to change with notice.
• Founding members receive locked-in pricing for their initial membership period.
• Multi-dog discounts apply to additional dogs from the same household booked for the same service.
• Holiday rates remain the same as standard rates — no surcharges are applied.
• Payment is due at the time of service unless otherwise arranged.

4. Credits & Rewards

• Each service booked earns 1 credit worth $5.
• Credits may be redeemed toward any future service.
• Credits never expire while membership is active but are forfeited upon cancellation.
• Credits are non-transferable and have no cash value.
• Members who book 4 or more services in a calendar month receive a waiver of the following month's membership fee.

5. Cancellation & Refunds

• Members may cancel their membership at any time with no penalty or cancellation fee.
• Unused credits are forfeited upon cancellation and cannot be reinstated.
• Rejoining after cancellation requires a new membership and a new meet & greet.
• Service cancellations should be made at least 24 hours in advance. Late cancellations may be charged at the full service rate.

6. Dog Requirements

• All dogs must be current on Rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella vaccinations. Proof must be provided at the meet & greet.
• Dogs must complete a temperament assessment during their meet & greet. Assessments are updated on an ongoing basis.
• Dogs with high scores in bite risk or food aggression categories may be limited to solo services only.
• Owners must disclose any known behavioral issues, medical conditions, or medications at intake.

7. Liability & Assumption of Risk

While Fur Real Dog takes every reasonable precaution to ensure the safety and well-being of all dogs in our care, dog care involves inherent risks including but not limited to injury from other dogs, environmental hazards, or illness.

• Fur Real Dog is not liable for injuries or illness that occur despite reasonable precautions.
• Owners are responsible for disclosing any conditions that may affect their dog's care or the safety of others.
• In the event of a medical emergency, Fur Real Dog will make reasonable efforts to contact the owner and, if necessary, transport the dog to the nearest veterinary facility. Emergency veterinary costs are the responsibility of the owner.

8. Photos & Media

By enrolling in Fur Real Dog, you consent to photos and videos of your dog being taken during services for the purpose of providing updates to you. These images may also be used in marketing materials, social media, or on our website unless you opt out in writing.

9. Changes to Terms

Fur Real Dog reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Active members will be notified of material changes via email. Continued use of services after notification constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
